All That Glitters: The City That Never Sleeps

All That Glitters: The City That Never Sleeps

Happy Saturday gorgeous! And happy "Super Saturday!" Hope you are doing something AMAZING this weekend, and getting your merriment on! Is the shopping complete? Are you wrapped? Cards sent out? Menu put together for all your entertaining? Whatever you have going, I hope you are doing so with the spirt of the season!

This week's "All That Glitters" is going to be a tad bit different. Yes, it is going to showcase what I am wearing (and where you can find it) BUT I am giving you a little behind the scenes as to all the places I visited while in NYC. Think of it as you are getting a bit of a bonus, right?

Outfit #1: Malibu Farm, The Brooklyn Bridge, & The Financial District

Malibu Farm, AH, I just LOVE IT. I have had the opportunity to visit both the Malibu AND Seaport District locations and they are both fabulous! If you are not familiar, Malibu Farm is a locally owned, “farm to table,” locally sourced business that is, in their words, “growing like weeds.” The food & atmosphere are beyond fabulous, and I cannot wait to see where it takes them!

In Malibu, you are, literally, sitting on the Malibu Pier, overlooking the Pacific and the beautiful hills of Malibu. In New York City, your view is of the gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge. It is INSANE how magnificent, and totally different, both of these venues are YET they are so similar in their own right.

As for my outfit…

J. Crew: Although the blouse & necklace are sold out, you can find similar ones HERE and HERE

Halogen: Again, this is SOLD OUT but HERE are a ton of other options for which to choose!

Outfit #2: Hudson Yards

THIS latest shopping mecca to hit the streets of NYC is ridiculous. The shopping, good eats, luxury living, AND, the “bee hive” should be a must on your destination list the next time you are in the city.

What I LOVE is the fact that there is a mix of retail (and places to grab a bite and drink) but it was not crowded at all! That is a rare sight in NYC and one of the reasons I will be going back to this area the next time I have the chance to get to NYC.

As for my outfit…

Anthropologie: Cozy Striped Duster Kimono (Currently Sold Out BUT lots of other options)

J. Crew: Short Sleeved Graphic Tee

Stella & Ruby Chiffon Neckalce in Gold/Marigold

Outfit #3: The Plaza Hotel

Okay, I could continue to go on and on about this place BUT I, recently, wrote a blog post about what I wore, and the fabulous champagne I consumed as well. You can find it all HERE.

Alright you, hope you are having an amazing day! Cheers to the weekend!
