December 1, 2018
Happy December 1st loves! Wow, I have been behind the 8-ball this week with my posting. No excuses BUT my days were filled with lots of prepping, planning, and reflection on my personal and professional goals and, frankly, where I want to be this time next year.
Quite honestly, it is hard to believe it is Saturday already...and December 1st for that matter...and 5:00 am as I write this post. Yes, sleep has been out the door - AGAIN. This week has been filled with a LOT of exciting things that are heading down the pike for the Fit4Janine brand in 2019. I mean, some REALLY awesome ventures. It's been good for me to keep busy; it has been an emotional ride these past few weeks.
I have been really sad. Hurt. Heartbroken...again.
Doors are never fully closed, and I am a believer in 2nd chances and giving it another try, but it has to be for the right reasons. Now, as I head into the Holiday season, my objective is to embrace the time of year that I love, focus on me & what makes me happy, be with my family, and throw myself into work!
Yes, to quote a line from one of my favorite movies, Sleepless in Seattle, "work is the only way to see you through this." Okay, maybe it is not the ONLY way but you get what I mean. Ha!
Although December brings with it all the hustle and bustle of the "most wonderful time of the year," it is, also, bringing a lot of content and market research for the Fit4Janine brand. If you are reading this, I really appreciate you stopping by and taking the time! For that, I want to share with you a peek at what is happening over the next month, and how it is just going to get HOTTER from here! :)
- Day in Tyson's Corner
- Day in New York City
- Meetings with Prospective Partnerships
- Holiday Parties
- Day in Georgetown
- Week in Santa Monica, California
- My Go-To's for "How to Throw a Christmas Day Open House!"
- 4 More #MustHaveMonday series blog posts
- Interviews & Vlogs with 2 local restaurants, 2-3 small business establishments, and 1 boutique hotel!
And, who knows, maybe all of this will change BUT, for right now, this is my focus. At some point, I will get my act together and purchase gifts. I have done a little bit already but it has been hard to get into the spirit of the season. Maybe now that it is "officially" December 1st it will feel different! Here's to hoping, right?
As always, thank you for trusting the process with me, and watching Fit4Janine evolve over the last 18 months - well, actually, 3 months since it has been rebranded! I hope you will come along for the ride in 2019! Big things are going to happen, and I want you there every step of the way!
Stay connected with me HERE, on the blog, as well as on my other social media platforms so you never miss what is happening in my life - as beautiful of a mess as it may be (LOL) - what is trending in my closet, where to eat, best recipes, coffee, wine, party planning, and so much more!
P.S. A HUGE thank you to the beautiful Violeta Meyners for capturing that amazing picture of me at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, June 2018. And another shoutout to Anthropologie for that super cute, retro-inspired jumpsuit!
