Friday Faves: Prints, Patterns, and a Pop of Color!

Man, it's Friday AND I am kind of bummed out that this is the LAST week of my "Friday Fave" series. Good news is that we are approaching the Holiday season - Fa la la la la, la la la LA! - and you are going to be seeing a whole lot more of my "favorite things!"

I don't know about you, but this week has been another blur. I was telling a friend the other day at lunch that I am just SO TIRED. Luckily, I, FINALLY, slept last evening. I don't know, maybe it is all the supplements my holistic doctor is recommending or I really am THAT TIRED. It has been an emotionally charged week and I think that shit catches up to you.

Anyway, excited to be sharing all of 'da goodies from this week. As a BONUS, especially since you are getting a double does of these looks on Tuesday, I am going to give you my recommendations on the same (if not similar) items that I think you should try to score. And, if you like them, let me know! I also love getting a good recommendation myself!

Friday Faves

This week's looks felt like one big "smorgasbord" of prints, patterns, lots of color, classy, edgy, and dressy athleisure. By the way, I cannot remember the last time I used the word "smorgasbord." More importantly, do you know how many times I had to re-spell it too, LOL. Refocus Janine!

Top Left Hand Corner: "Sara Smocked Shirtdress"  & "Lianna Rancher" from Anthropologie; Shirtdresses can either look fabulous or they can be a fashion DON'T. Believe me, I have a handful in my closet and I question at times how they even look on me. I, recently, saw this "Celia Chambray Shirtdress" in Anthropologie and I think it might be a must to purchase. It's classic, and it can be dressed up or down. I have a pair of cowboy boots that I purchased in Austin, Texas a few years ago that have yet to be worn. This would be PEERRRRFFFEEECCCTTTT. And the Edith Beret they pair with it is FANTASTIC! I purchased in pink back in September and I now I, definitely, feel that I have a super trendy look to showcase.

Bottom Left Hand Corner:  "Raspberry Ripple Pleated Skirt" in Light Blue from Ted Baker; "Storm Stripe" blouse by Rails; "Mollie Velvet Clutch" in Yellow from Anthropologie; It is no surprise my LOVE for Ted Baker. He just gets me. While this skirt is a perfect way to transition from Summer into Fall (really, all year round), I think this Selmma Pleated Striped Midi Skirt would be a mahhhh-velous addition to your skirt repertoire. Oh, and while I purchased my clutch in yellow, there are 4 other colors that are beautiful! So any one you choose would be amazing!

Top Right Hand Corner: "Another Mile Jacket" in Honeycomb from Lululemon; All I have to say is GET THIS JACKET in whatever color you want! It is my favorite of the season AND the favorite of all the employees too. FYI: 3 colors to choose from!

Bottom Right Hand Corner: "Hazel Pointy Toe Pumps" in Bright White Leather by Sam Edelman & the "Lianna Rancher" & "Circular Tote Bag," both in white, too, from Anthropologie; You cannot go wrong with any of the colors/fabrics/prints in a good Sam Edelman shoe, specifically the Hazel Pointy Toe Pump (they are an "icon"). Hands down, my favorite! I am loving THIS suede style for Fall/Winter - how sexy is a suede pump - AND this "Mary Jane" style heel

So much shopping to do, so little time! Hope you find inspiration with what I have sporting over the last few weeks. Here's to Friday!
