It's hard to believe my sister and her husband have been married for a little over a month. Where does the time go?!?! Just this past week, their "guestbook" arrived completed in the mail and, I have to say, it was such a great find by my Mom. In fact, she has had this idea since last Summer (2017) and, post-Wedding, I had the opportunity to visit one of the stores in Mystic, Connecticut. Total coincidence, and I may not have even really clued in if not for having seen it.
Enter "Sea Bags;" have you heard of them before? All of their items are made in Maine, and made from recycled sails. Pretty cool, huh? Go to their website! They have SO MUCH to offer, such as a plethora of bags to choose from (their collections & sizes are vast), items for your pet (of course), home accessories & decor (umm, WINE BAGS), and the ability to customize any bag that you want!
My Mom came across this site when she was trying to find a creative guestbook to have at the Wedding which, was not a guestbook. She wanted something that my sister and her husband could use, and be a reminder of the day and all who came to share & celebrate in their love! Their "Custom Guest Tote Bag" - part of their "Wedding Collection" - comes in 4 different handle colors, an assortment of colors for the date, and starts at $200. To quote right from the site...
"Celebrate your special day with our Custom Guest Book Tote! We will send you the interior sail pattern that will later be used to make up the tote. Have your special guests sign the interior sail material. After your event, send the sail pattern back to us and we will create the one-of-a-kind guest book tote that you will cherish for years to come. Hand-spliced rope handles are constructed into the tote design providing comfortable shoulder carry."
The final product is super impressive, absolutely worth the $200+ price tag, and such a fun way to remember your BEST DAY EVER! Happy shopping loves! And, if you have a chance to visit one of their stores, DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT!
