September 4, 2019
Hello Wednesday, and you know what that means..time to WINE down! Excited to be showcasing some of my favorite wines, and new ones too, over the next few months.
For September, this varietal has taken me from the Summer into the early Fall. What I love is that it is light AND in my signature color too! FYI: I will keep this post "light!" It is all about what is NEW, where I tried it, what I paired with it, and where you can purchase the outfit I am wearing! Because, if course!
Wine: Skouras Zoe Wine from Greece
Wine Notes: "The color is bright, light cerise with pink hues. Vibrant and clear on the nose, with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, hints of flowers, and rose petal notes. On the palate it has a medium body, moderately high acidity and the slightest suggestion of very ripe tannins. Flavors are consistent with the aromas, with a light sensation of sweet grass and bubble gum. The finish is moderately long, with developing flavors that lead to complexity" (www.wine.com)
Where I Tried: Ouzo Bay in Harbor East, Baltimore
What I Paired With It: Mussels, Grilled Calamari, and the Marouli Salad with Grilled Salmon
Where You Can Find My Look: The "Castille Wide-Leg Jacquard Jumpsuit" in Dusty Rose from Anthropologie
Hope you enjoy! Cheers! Here's to next Wednesday! :)
