#TrendingTuesday: BOLD, BRIGHT, and Mr. Baker!

Hey there Tuesday...what is TRENDING for YOU today? Maybe tacos and tequila? A whole lot of work? A day off? OR, if you are like me, it is ALL about what is trending in my closet right now! Although I wish my "Taco & Tequila" series was still rolling. Maybe I will have to bring it back - LOL. The market research was AMAZE-balls.

Last week, I kicked off this series on Instagram & Facebook by bringing back an oldie but goodie ensemble that coupled the HOT colors and prints this season - Yellow & Leopard! Over the next 4 weeks, you are going to be seeing some of my latest pieces and where you can find them too (and maybe even on sale)!

Last Friday, I had a little fun with this photo session, and got a lot of honks and "who is she?" With the look of this outfit being BOLD & BRIGHT, I wanted to capture it an iconic spot in Baltimore that had the same energy. Why not Pennsylvania ("Penn") Station then?

This picture - below - was one of my favorites from the day, although this aluminum male/female statue that adorns the front of the entrance is definitely out of place, HA. And, when you google it, most people agree. But, it provided a neutral background for photos!

Now, onto the outfit! If memory serves correct, the coat was the first to be purchased because not only do I have an outwear obsession BUT it was in my signature color (and it spoke to me)! I am a believer that fun, colorful (and even printed coats) do not have to cost a fortune, especially because they are something that may go out of style as quickly as they were in style. Classics, on the other hand, are well worth the high-end price tag. #timeless

I am showcasing the "Belted Coat with High Collar" in Fuchsia from Zara!

Next up, I saw these pants in none other than one of my favorite places - Anthropologie! Of course, I am famous for purchasing items that don't have a matching pair. Meaning, I bought these pants and then was topless. Imagine that. I kid! Anyway, the model is shown wearing a loose fitting turtleneck but I wanted something a little more form fitting, and that is when I knew I had to turn to one of my favorites - Ted Baker!

I am wearing the "Spirited Patchwork Wide-Leg Pants" from Anthropologie! P.S. They are (almost) 50% off right now!

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Ted Baker? This designer just "FITS" me - in every sense of the word - and it is just downright classy. I have a black, short-sleeved tight fitting tee with ruffled sleeves that I adore, and get so many compliments. I was so pumped when I found this tee with a beautiful embellished neckline of grosgrain and pearly buttons. And while there were a few colors to choose from, I went with the basic navy.

I am wearing the "Nikita Embellished Neck Fitting Top" in Navy from Ted Baker!

And, while the gold heels have been in my closet for a bit - they are Badgely Mischka - they hurt beyond words. At least they looked good in pictures!
