Yes, did you hear? I have a HUGE crush...and I don't care who knows it. Anyone want to name that movie? And, I know, it goes more like "I'm in love, I'm in love." It seems fitting since pretty much everywhere is decked out for Christmas already! Crazy train but I am loving it!
Anywho, here's to Saturday and doing so in style. I mean, it is "Saturday Style" after all. Eh, what a week but at least it got started with a fun trip to a very underrated, yet highly historic, restaurant in Baltimore County, Maryland - Milton Inn. Actually, it was really fun to be back! It had been close to a year since I had been. In fact, did you happen to see the VLOG I put together for the restaurant back in December of 2018? You can check it out HERE! I laugh; I am wearing purple in both today's photo and last years video. And purple is not even my "color."
I was immediately struck by this top when it came through my email inbox last weekend. The minute I saw it I knew I had to check it out! FYI: The colors online can be deceiving; so happy I was able to see in store. The original color I thought I had wanted would have been a big BUMMER.
This "Karina Velvet Buttondown" in Plum from Anthropologie has me, totally, CRUSHING...and I think I may want to purchase another. Plus, it is so rich, it even dresses up a pair of jeans! An amazing addition to have in your wardrobe, especially with this upcoming Holiday season. While my athletic build is not always conducive for a "true to size," most who reviewed said they purchased their "normal" shirt size.
Ah, and that snakeskin "envelope" purse (i.e. sitting on the bar) which seems to be all the rage this year, was purchased at a local boutique in Baltimore called Sassanova. A true gem and they serve up the latest fashions! I have have a hair of heels to match!
As I mentioned, this look can really be dressed up or down. I chose to pull a pair of my favorite Good American jeans from this season and throw on a new pair - although from a couple years ago - of Vince Camuto tan booties. OMG, just LOVE! And, to complete the look, I added one of my blingy necklaces from J. Crew!
Can't you see why I have such a freaking CRUSH on this outfit, and this look? If you did not get the 411, crushed velvet, as well as sequins, are all the rage this season. What better way to get your "merry" on than by looking super chic, and "sparkling" like the goddess that you are! Gentlemen, if you are reading this, you would be an absolute God to your significant other by purchasing this look!
Happy Saturday! Keep rockin' your style, and I will keep bringing you the looks!
P.S. Thank you again to the Milton Inn for giving me their restaurant as my photo playground for the afternoon. Amazing wine and food selection. You must go - NOW...and check out my VLOG to get more scoop too!
